Ho trovato una foto di una carica di Scots Greys con i fanti scozzesi attaccati alle staffe delle selle
Vorrei sapere che utilità aveva ciò? Era una pratica normale od occasionale? Da un punto di vista tattico che vantaggi portava?
Senza contare che probabilmente rischiavano di essere calpestati o schiacciati dai cavalli.
